This stand is stable, sturdy and not overly heavy. The double lip provides handy placement of pencils, erasers, highlighter, etc., and serves as a safe place for a violin bow. We love not having to fuss with knobs when adjusting the height of the stand. No complaints at all.

This is the best stand I have ever used. It has a place where you can place your mallets and drumsticks when not using them. You can just grab them with out having to move your feet and bending over.

Excellent Music Stand. I love the lip because it can hold a metronome (on its side) and tuner (on its side), plus several pencils, a high lighter, ear plugs and anything else you might need. It allows one to turn pages without fumbling around to move the metronome, and it saves time by having everything at your fingertips when you need it.
