This music stand is simple and functional...high quality at a very affordable price. I also purchased the rubber boots that fit over the feet of the stand to protect the wood floors I have. The stands arrived very promptly. I ordered 3...one for myself and a couple for Christmas gifts. Excellent product and super service.

This was a GREAT Buy! I conduct an English Handbell Choir and have a lot of music. I holds it very well and adjusts great, I also play guitar and is great for sitting down & reading music also. I would DEFINately suggest buying the foot caps to protect your floors

There's a reason the Manhasset stand can be found in virtually every public school band or choir room across the country. These stands are incredibly solid and stand up to the daily abuse that kids can so easily inflict on equipment. Even when treated miserably, the worst that happens is these stands develop a wobble, which is repairable with parts the manufacturer makes readily available. Unless you need something more portable (and beware, because the majority of folding stands are cheap and flimsy), you need look no further. Given normal wear and tear, the Manhasset stand will last a lifetime. Bear in mind that the legs of this stand are solid metal. If you have wood floors you don't want to see scratched, I strongly recommend the Manhasset Floor Protectors. These are sturdy rubber feet which slide easily onto the leg ends of this stand but, once there, remain firmly in place. These are a wise (if not essential) investment.
