Baggs iBEAM Active Acoustic Guitar Pickup System combines the iBeam transducer pickup with an all-discrete, Class A FET preamp built on a stereo Strapjack and pre-tuned to deliver plug-and-play L.R. Baggs performance. The preamp also features a second active input, so you can easily run a second pickup to complement the L.R. Baggs iBeam.

This pickup is AMAZING! I bought it about a month ago and I'm amazed by the results. It has a great acoustic sound and it picks up everything that it needs to. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good-quality pickup, and one that isn't expensive. I TOTALLY give iBeam a 5-star rating!

WOW. I wanted a true sounding acoustic pickup without drilling holes in my 33 year old guild, and this is it. I bought this guitar new a long time ago, and it is has been through hell and back and the sound just keeps getting better with age, unlike the player :-} I looked at saddle pickups but didn't want to take a chance at ruining my best friend. LR Baggs, you rock. Took a little while to find that "sweet spot", but it was worth the time. I play live and this is so sweet. It blows away my Taylor's active I use. Now I can play the guitar I love when I play live. I get the EQ I need right from the board, no need for a pre. When I record, I use the Baggs along with a mic to record on seperate tracks and mix them left and right, what a full beautiful sound. My nylon gets the Baggs next.

Installation was a breeze. Tried a couple different placements to get a good even response. The pickup itself is a little strong in the mid range, but overall it's a good pickup. It really is hard to get a true representation of an acoustic guitar, but this pickup can get you headed in the right direction.
