Great slide

By andy-F871f

Comments about Lost Country Original Delta Slider Fiber Optic Guitar Glide:

This slide was just right for me and I've pretty much tried them all. Unlike other glass slides or brass ones its made of some super tough material that wont nick up when you occasionally hit your fret ends. The weight is a good medium for decent manouverability and great sustain. Its a little shorter than most slides, but it's still got enough length to cover all 6 strings with room to spare, even on an acoustic, so I guess the question is, why are other slides longer? Is some crazy bastard playing slide on a classical guitar? Probably. But I digress... As for the taper, I've had one for 2 months and didn't even realize until I saw the description. It's BARELY tapered.

Lost Country Fiber Optic guitar slides

By Terry Relph-Knight

from London UK

Comments about Lost Country Original Delta Slider Fiber Optic Guitar Glide:

These fiber optic slides look quite striking due to the shimmering reflections caused by the fiber optic component. They are well made, just the right size for my little finger at least and have a nice length and flare. The inside is roughened, either as a result of actually having been bored out or having been intentionally roughened, so they provide a good gripping surface for the finger. The outer surface is well polished so they slide nicely. Sound and sustain is good although not quite as mellow as my Diamond Bottlenecks Ultimate slide. These Lost Country slides are above average for glass slides and they do look unusual.
