I am using this cord between an amplifier and a Gibson Sonex 180 Deluxe. This cord is the best that I have purchased at this price so far. The angled end swings very smoothly in the guitar and there is no static or hiss even at high volume.

Great cable. Seems and feels solid. I have a bunch of 25' cables from my days in a band, but wanted something shorter, mostly to go between pedals, and also long enoug to sit and use w/my practice amp. Does both very well.

Unfortunately, like with so many things, I learned my lesson the hard way. Thinking I could save money with the cheapest angled cable I could find for my brand new Les Paul, I went with a 5ft Live Wire. Only meant for bedroom playing on a practice Vox amp, I thought I'd have no problems. Was I wrong. Immediately out the packaging, the cable had loose connections and a terrible hissing sound (not due to my amp OR guitar). It didn't sound incredibly loud, but it was annoying enough to severely prohibit me playing without being conscious of it. Music123 was kind and amazing enough to send out a replacement cable as they sought this one to be defective. In the meantime, I also tried a better quality cable to see if it solved my problems. The Live Wire pales in comparison to a cable only a few dollars more in price. I would not recommend this cable to anyone, even for novices.

I found the quality of these cables exceeded my expectations. Nice flexibility and good fitting connectors. They worked very well without breaking my bank account (I got the 18foot+ cable.) Unless you need studio-quality cables, these cables should do you quite well.
