Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

it doesn't say in the description and you can't tell in the picture but this capo is curved, just fyi.

I used mine as-is on my classical guitar for about a year and since it's curved and my classical guitar is flat I've had to tighten it down pretty hard to keep the center strings from buzzing. Luckily it's made from aluminum so it wasn't terribly difficult to hammer it down flat.

It's a nice little capo but I probably wouldn't recommend it for a performance since it does take a minute to unscrew it, move it, and then screw it back down in between songs.

Could be improved but does the job.

Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

I use this capo alot and have found two things that buyers should know about. The neck bracket(lower)that tightens against the neck has a rubber cushion that moves with use and has to be pushed back into place so it doesn't damage neck. It could be glued to keep it in place. Also the same bracket is what the adjustment screw pushes against while adjusting. I think the adj/screw will wear a hole in the bracket. Could glue some plastic or nylon piece under screw to keep it from cuting through. Other than that I think it is very good.

    Easy to use

Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

This capo is good because it is made of metal and it is easy for me to use. I'm a woman and the tension spring ones are too difficult for me. It would be good for women, children. I only gave it 4 stars because I really don't think it would last with years of use by someone that plays hard every day and it does take longer to adjust than a tension spring one. For the price, you won't be disappointed.

    Impressive little guy...does the job!

    By Chris-iZgor

Comments about Kyser Pro/Am 6-String Guitar Capo:

For the budget or practical minded this is an ideal little device. It holds tight and true. I got it so I could learn songs that use capos in the tabs. And, it does the job wonderfully. Ive used it on frets 1 to 5 and it moves and adjusts easily and creates a perfect bar across all strings (even as the neck gets thicker and the fret board gets wider). It's not the most impressive looking piece of hardware. It is lightweight, very tiny, and no attention has been given to make it look cool. I was definitely expecting something more substantial (in terms of size/weight) and the first time I tightened it down I could not help but thinking that I'd been had--it just looked way too cheap. Despite my prejudice, it clamped down and held wonderfully. And, as I started playing I was glad it was small so that it was not in the way. After a month there is no indication that it is going to break or begin to lose its grip.

I found this capo one of the easiest to use while providing genuine, rich sounds with no distortion. I recommend this for all skill levels.
