The pitchblack Chromatic Pedal Tuner offers you high precision, advanced functionality, and sleek style to make it KORG's most advanced guitar/bass stompbox-style tuner yet. The pitchblack tuner has a tough aluminum die-cast body that will endure hard use on the road or in the studio. The large LED meter and note name display with light-emitting surface is easy to read in any setting from daylight to stage light to no light. The extremely smooth eleven-segment LED meter allows accurate visual tuning from any angle. The Pitch Black has a red LED to indicate on/off status and a tuning range of E0 (20.60 Hz) to C8 (4,186 Hz) with adjustable calibration between 436--445Hz.
4 display modes.
The pitchblack's LED meter can be switched among 4 display modes including: Meter, Full Strobe, Half Strobe, and Mirror.
1. Meter mode
Similar to using a needle meter, tune your instrument so that the green LED in the center of the LED display lights and both tuning guide LED's are lit. The tuning LED's will be to the right of center if your instrument is sharp, and to the left of the center if your instrument is flat.
2. Full Strobe mode
Tune your instrument so that the LED meters stop streaming and both tuning guide LED's are lit. The LED meters will stream from left to right if your instrument is sharp and from right to left if your instrument is flat.
3. Half Strobe mode
Tune your instrument so that the LED meters stop streaming and only the green LED in the center is lit and both tuning guide LED's are lit. The LED meters will stream to the right of center if your instrument is sharp, and to the left of center if your instrument is flat. When the pitch is correct, only the center LED will be lit.
4. Mirror mode
Tune your instrument so that the two LEDs on the left and right sides of the center LED meet in the middle and both tuning guide LED's are lit. The pitch lit LEDs will spread farther apart the more your instrument is out of tune. The left tuning guide will light if your instrument is flat, and the right tuning guide will light if your instrument is sharp.
100% True Bypass output keeps your tone intact.
The pitchblack mutes the input signal for silent tuning, and when you're not tuning the input is passed directly to the output jack without being affected by any circuitry (True Bypass). So even if you connect the pitchblack between several of your favorite pedals, the signal will pass without going through the internal buffer amp, ensuring that the sounds you've created using your effects will not be colored in any way. The pitchblack is designed to coexist transparently with other effect pedals.

The pitchblack is designed to fit conveniently into your pedal board system. It provides a DC OUT jack that can supply power to other effect pedals when the optional AC adaptor is used. By connecting optional DC cables, you can supply up to 200 mA of power to multiple effect pedals, simplifying the power connections in your pedal board.

A really great tuner for your pedal board. It's quite, and the bypass is top-notch. Nice and easy to read, accurate and easy to use. You can set it to your preferred style of tuner (I'm partial to the standard "needle" style myself). I'd definitely buy it again.

Sadly one of my favorite pedals. Straight forward operation and an awesome display. I've had mine for about a year and have had no issues seems like it's built about as well as it could be. Tracking seems excellent on both guitar and bass and is quick. True bypass, if you need a buffer build one. All my tuners have been Korg or complete garbage. Well worth the price tag and you'll sound better in tune.

Very good tuner - true bypass - bright display. Very sturdy but not built as tough as the Boss tuners. It's smaller than the Boss tuners though.

Its a tuner, it does the job its suppose to do and it does it well. The display is large and bright. Also it seems to recognize the pitch very quickly. Ive owned and used some tuners that had a sort of delay in showing you what the pitch of the string was. This thing however goes straight to the note quickly. Great tuner, if its in your price range get it, you'll like it.

This tuner is great, being that it is accurate, has a bright display, and is a great alternative to a rack tuner. This unit sits on the floor at the front of the stage where it should be, not at the back of the stage off to the side with the rest of the rack equipment. The mute function is great also, and not to mention it looks great!

I needed something better than the old Boss tuner I'd used for years, and my Korg rack tuner was excellent, just too bulky. This is really good pedal tuner, high quality and very accurate. Easy to put in the chain & forget until needed. Typical good Korg quality, it should last with some care.

This tuner works very well, is easy to use and not as expensive as some of this type. Those little tuners are okay for practice but a real hassle for live playing or recording. For that you need one that you can leave in the signal chain and access as needed. The readout of this Korg tuner is large and bright making it easy to see from a standing position. Good for us people over 40 who don't see as well as we used to or if you're trying to tune in a dark place.
