This case was just what we were looking for. Lightweight, offers good protection, plenty of storage for music, cords etc. Appears to be well made. Compared to several others in this general price range and am convinced this is the best value out there. Would highly recommend.

This is by far the most functional bass case I've ever owned. I started off looking for a gig bag because the hardshell case I have just doesn't allow for much storage of my extra chords, cables, strings, etc. My problem with gig bags, though, is that they tend to flimsy and don't really offer any support for my bass. This case, though, combines the storage and ease of carriage of a gig bag with the protection and support of a hardshell case. The three outer pockets offer quite a bit of space, and one of them is oversized to allow for sheet music or a fake book. There are two separate storage compartments inside the case, as well. Inside, there is sturdy neck support, which is a must. I love the backpack style straps, which also can be tucked away in the provided pocket, at which time the included carrying handle makes this case function as a standard hardshell. I've been extremely pleased with this case, and would highly reommend it to anyone.

This is my 2nd purchase for a Polyfoam case and I really believe that this is a great value. I have compared with competitive brands and found the quality, ruggedness and fit to be far superior. My reason for purchase was to reduce weight and have a better fit for my bass.
