This is a gem. I play 12 string guitar and keeping it in tune is a constant battle. This little baby takes all the humbug out of tuning. It is a chromatic tuner, so keeping my 12 string in drop D tuning is easy. I can even tune with a capo on. And its so small, I can just leave it on the neck all the time. Very convenient.

I play Upright Bass and Contra Bass (5 String Upright Bass), so I need a tuner that gets the low notes down to a low B. A while ago, I'd gotten an Intelli, based upon reviews of guitar players. It was useless - didn't really work on my Uprights - 4 or five string.!
Last week, one of my students came in with this little gem; I tried it out and it tracked all the way down to the B - bowing and pizz. I ordered one right away.
It came and worked great for about 30 seconds and stopped. I was going to send it back, but I tried testing the battery, and it was low. Replaced battery and it's just great! As a matter of fact, I'm gonna get another one so I'll have one for the Orchestra bass and one for the Jazz bass - I'll just leave 'em clamped to the bridge!

Compact unit that is very easy to use. Goes every where and does what it is supposed to do. The screen changes color to indicate the correct pitch. Note value display is big and bold. The piezo pick up has worked reliably. Very satisfied with this little gem of a tuner. Useful for all instruments as it is a chromatic tuner. The best point is the display is incredibly easy to read.
