I ordered this case with my Ibanez K5, I was quite impressed, it fits my bass perfectly, the lining is very soft and oddly enough smells good... the outer case is very protective, it also has a lock on the case which is handy, overall great buy.

This is a great case, and fits my Soundgear bass perfectly. This case has kept my bass in perfect condition, even in the toughest of environments, school. Cases take a beating in school band rooms and the only complaint I have about this one is about the strength of the metal feet on the bottom. There are small metal feet to stand the case on. These feet are supported only by thin plastic and tend to punch through the plastic and impair the case's ability to stand free. I haven't seen the non-deluxe model case in person, but it is very possibly more durable than this one, just not quite as classy. So, if looks are a big factor, go for this case, it's cool. If not, buy the cheaper model.
