Excellent Value
Comments about Hercules Stands GS402B Mini Electric Guitar and Bass Guitar Stand:
I bought this stand for a banjo and it works well for holding a resonater back banjo. The banjo is very stable in it more so than a guitar as the banjo pot is heavy and resists being knocked over. It is heavy constructed and folds up easily to a small size. I like it enough that I have two of them.

Nice Compact Stant
Comments about Hercules Stands GS402B Mini Electric Guitar and Bass Guitar Stand:
This stand is very compact, seems well built, and is very sturdy. The stand itself won't fall over, but the guitar can be knocked over more easily than with a stand that would hold the neck. The foam pad that the back of the guitar rests against is curved, but it seems to be big enough and "grippy" enough to prevent the guitar from sliding off. I nudged mine and knocked the neck a few times on purpose, and it didn't move on the stand. I wouldn't use it in a live situation or where there is a lot of traffic, but at home or traveling to the in-laws it's perfect. I sometimes use a VOX headphone amp plugged in to my PRS SE and it doesn't contact the floor when in the stand. I have a wood floor also, and the rubber feet on the stand haven't caused a problem with marks yet, and I don't expect them to. It's a great portable stand. If you are playing live or worried about people running around it, the I recommend a Hercules stand that supports the neck.

Very Smart
Comments about Hercules Stands GS402B Mini Electric Guitar and Bass Guitar Stand:
I commend Hercules for the design of this stand. I own two of these, one for the house and one for the studio. It folds up very compact and locks into place when unfolded for extra security. As far as small, foldanle guitar stands go, this is the best one I have ever owned, and I have owned many over the years. Certainly worth the money. If you need a quality stand, put this in the cart.

Great compact stand
Comments about Hercules Stands GS402B Mini Electric Guitar and Bass Guitar Stand:
A wonderful piece of engineering. Small enough to throw into a gig bag but sturdy enough to hold your guitar securely. Worth the money.
