These sound great and I use them at every band practice. They are visible so I don't use them live. These really are better quality than the foam Hearos, which I also use sometimes.
Tip: always have these in your pocket when you leave for band practice. Also, get a bulk pack of the foam Hearos as well and keep a fresh pair in each guitar case.

I got a drumset recently and as much as I enjoy banging on the drums after a tough day, I want to be sure I can still hear and enjoy music of all kinds from now till the day I die.
These ear plugs are advised for all musicians who are playing on or near the drums. They do a great job of keeping the decibel volume down and are super comfortable!
The only thing you will regret is NOT getting them.

My son is a 15 year old drummer that's been in a couple of Rock bands and a Church Youth Band. I wanted to protect his ears so when he's my age he can still hear. We tried other foam type ear plugs but he couldn't hear very well so we tried these. He said they worked good, he could still hear the band and didn't bother him while he played.

I bought these to protect my hearing while playing drums. I don't know anything about attenuation but these do protect my ears without distorting the sound. The only thing is that the silicone plugs that go in the ears are a little too big for me so they don't quite go all the way in. However, they do a decent job and I'm satisfied with them.

These are great. I've had mine for a few years, I wear them at shows and when playing guitar or jamming with a band. They really cut down on the db while allowing you to hear exactly what you're playing. Also, you will notice a difference in your quality of hearing after you start wearing these when going to concerts. These are the best thats out there under a hundred bucks.

Have not played drums for 25 years. Played without hearing protection and of course now have hearing loss and tinnitus. I would not play without hearing protection again. I planned on buying a pair of the custom fit filters that cost several hundred dollars but thought I would give these a try first. Guess what - they work really well. No doubt the custom fit type would be more comfortable, but for the price these are a great choice. Highly recommended. Please protect your hearing now or you WILL have problems latter!! It was not until 20 years after I stopped playing that I experienced hearing problems.

These plugs do stop all the loudness of stage monitors and allow just what I need to hear at a reasonable spl.

i've been using these for about 8 months i guess. they do affect the sound a little bit... you can still hear the highs but they really protect you from the piercing cymbals and unexpected feedback. i won't play a full band show without them anymore. the biggest con for me is that i hear the sound of my voice through my head pretty well, which is kind of a double edged sword.... but, for the protection they offer, it's a great trade-off to me.
