Measure your music stand first!! It doesn't fit the most common Hamilton stands. The pocket of this bag is only 19 inches deep (product description doesn't give dimensions). It is at least 2 inches too short to close over any of my Hamilton portable stands (I have 4 of them).
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
