I bought an Epiphone Crestwood a few years back at a THRIFT STORE. The pickups were shot so I bought Gibson Pickups. I used this one in the bridge position and it made my guitar sing! I am so happy to have grabbed one. If you have a guitar that you want a Gibson sound, try one of these in the bridge position. You'll be impressed. You can go from clean to heavy without losing quality.

i'm using two of these on my gibson lp std. it makes much warmer and softer sound than burst bucker pros. maybe this is the coolest pickup i've ever used.

I installed a new 57 classic plus in the bridge position along with new mallory caps, what a smooth clean sound. Want to rock, crank this baby up and it blow you away. bye the way, thanks for the fast service.

I was originally going to install a 57 classic in the bridge of my Epiphone SG, but could only get this classic plus and to my suprise the 57 plus was awesome. I figured it would be good but was really pleased , it gave a real nice vintage tone and to my suprise had an awesome edge and I even got some nice feedback sitting about 8 feet away from my Marshall AVT 150 . Depending on your amp setting I had gotten everything from a nice hard rock sound to a metal sound . It replaced a Burstbucker 3 which I really did not care for to much this is a pretty cool pick-up and would definitly recommend this pick-up.

I've tried the DiMarzio's, Duncan's, and Fralins. I use the Gibons in a Les Paul for the best PAF tone, IMO. Pure vintage mojo...

I just recently installed this in the BRIDGE position of my Gibson SG. When I first put it in, I was happy with it, but not in love with the sound. Then I realized I need to make a couple of set up changes ... all of a sudden the sound is amazing. Make sure you put this in the bridge and that you take the time to set up you guitar properly after install. You will not be disappointed with it.

I play metal, punk and emo rock..this pickup is certainly gives the sound that I've been looking for. I've been asking and doing some research on my own just to to find what is the right one for me and finally I found this and I'm totally satisfied by the sound this pickup gives.

This pickup is great. It is hotter than I was expecting for a vintage style pickup. I put it in the bridge of my project guitar, my Epiphone Vintage G-400. I use this guitar for cleans, blues, and classic rock tones, and this pickup suits all of them perfectly. I generally use my other guitars EMG's for metal sounds, but this pickup will do that as well. (It can get a little noisy when then the gain is turned up) Overall, this a great classic pickup for those hard to get classic rock tones.

This pickup is incredible, but it needs to be noted that this is a BRIDGE pickup...when I first bought it, I didn't know that and put it in the neck position. I was disappointed, but then did some research and found out the problem, and once that was taken care of...sounds great. Very wide range of tone and great output.
