I got this case for my Guild D-25M 6-string and it's a good fit, though a little snug closing the case. More protection than a gig bag, not as much as a really expensive indestructible case. For the money it's a good deal.

These are tough, nicely padded cases, but the fit is not great. I originally purchased the Gator 6-string case for my 6-string guitar and the headstock would not fit (case was too short). So I returned it for a 12-string case, thinking I would use it for either my 6- or 12-string guitars. My 6-string fits, but I had to flatten the padding at the headstock end of the case to get the 12-string to fit. They seem to designed a little short, and the necks on neither of my guitars actually rest where they are supposed to in the case.

I'm the owner of a Guild D40-12, and the original case died after nearly 30 years of rugged use. I bought this one as replacement. Although the cost is more reasonable and the interior appropriately padded, it was a tight fit. But I'm most skeptical that the neck rests on either end of the accessory box DO NOT TOUCH THE NECK AT ALL! This leaves me skeptical about the outcome of using this case with this vintage axe.
