I play acoustics at church every Saturday evening for the past 3 plus years and alternate between a handful of acoustics, one of which is an old Alverez 12 string. I had a Pro Mag soundhole pickup that wasn't bad but I could not use it with the 12 string, for some odd reason it would only pick up the high octave strings. The Fishman not only picks up all 12 strings it is brighter and has more gain. It sounds great in all my acoustics whether put thru a PA system or just a guitar amp at jams. I had it over 3 years now with weekly use and it show no signs of any problems with the cord or sound. It installs at the blink of an eye and it hasn't made a mark on the wood around the soundhole. I also use it to record plugged directly into a Tascam DP 2 8 track digital and the results are predictably great. Highly recommened, don't let the low price fool you, this is a quality piece of equipment. It is especially nice if you have a 12 string you need to amplify.

Quality pickup. No hum or annoying noise. Excellent clarity and tone considering the more than reasonable price. Very good budget soundhole pickup. A lot of bang for your buck.
