I bought a 2007 Fender Highway One. I'd read reviews praising it, others that didn't. The Highway One is a fantastic guitar. The Alcino pickups have no gain and thus are noisy playing hard blues or rock, even playing clean. I kept them in a little box (so if I ever sell I can sell the original guitar) and bought the hot noiseless. The difference is amazing. The guitar is now as good (but different to, and that's a the aim) as my 72 Telecaster Deluxe reissue. Someone said the instructions weren't color coded. Well, the numbers of the pickups are given and the pickup wiring IS color coded, so no problems. A fantastic product.

These are good sounding pickups. The noiseless factor is a major plus on any Strat. I only give 4 stars because the cover on the bridge pickup is shallower in depth than the other two and this makes it difficult to get proper height adjustment at the bridge.Maybe one of your other users could confirm this to me. Also the instructions are not color codedso you don't know which pickup is which.

I put these pickups in a Highway One strat and couldn't be happier. What I thought the guitar SHOULD sound like it now does! You can't go wrong with this purchase. If you want noiseless and clean, set your amp correctly and this delivers. If you want HOT, set your amp correctly and this delivers. A no-brainer, everybody wins choice. Thanks Jeff!

I got these pickups with my Fender Stratocaster. Its a Mexi but with these pickups it sounds amazing. I love these things. If you want a good single coil pickup then throw some of these in your guitar.

I just got these pickups from Music123 and installed them on my Fender Strat and let me tell you it's like having a BRAND NEW GUITAR.These pickups sound amazing!The clean sound I kind expected but when I added distortion I was blown away! EVERY note sounds clear and theres is absolutely NO hum.If you got a strat these pickups rock! Get Them!

These pickups are excellent for any type of strat sound. I am giving them only 4 stars because they are not really high output. There is virtually no hum or noise what so ever. It is a definite improvement over the 57/62s that were in my American strat before. I would highly recommend them.

If you thought you could never get a great hard rock or metal sound out of your single coils in a strat, then you were wrong. These pickups are awesome you can get the best of both worlds with these things. My squeals have never been better.
