California Cable

By Collin Brocker

from Undisclosed

Comments about Fender California Cables:

I bought the red one about a year ago and it doesn't buzz at all, and it's REALLY red. The connectors are very solid and they seem to be heat shrunk and then they are covered by a screw on metal jacket. I play my guitar almost every day and this thing holds up great. No complaints

Good Quality Cable

By rjv

from Undisclosed

Comments about Fender California Cables:

Overall this cable meets my expectations for the price. Has good ends that fit solid into amp and my bass and the colors add to the look. As with most vinyl colored cables it is not very flexible so if you are looking for that soft rubber feel you get with most of the better "black" cables this probably is not what you want. It is a definite step up over the standard cables that come packaged with most guitars. Very quiet with good shielding. To use from your instrument to an amp or effect pedal I would expect it to do just fine. I think it would be as gig worthy as anyother cable at any price. Unless you are looking to jump rope with it, it should do just fine and maybe even add a little color to your guitar / bass.

cool but could do better in term of portability, and price.

Comments about Fender California Cables:

I would have loved it to be less bulky and if possible with a bit of effects added to it.

These cables are great!

By Jennifer

from Raoxboro, NC USA

Comments about Fender California Cables:

I bought a cable for my smash box, which is an Ibanez. It sounds great, to my surprise there was no static or anything even though it spent time under my amps for about a month when I though I had lost it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a guitar or bass!

not bad

By joe-Ms42o

Comments about Fender California Cables:

It's durable and has a nice sound for the price, but I wouldn't spend more than $10 on it. It's good for a practice chord, but obviously not gig worthy.

good cable for the money

By bassplyr45

Comments about Fender California Cables:

I really like the Fender California Cable. It is nice and durable. The one I have I've owned for 2 years. They hold up nicely, compared to other cables I've bought which fall apart quickly. I really like the colors they come in. They are a nice alternative to the drab black cables you see everywhere. I use the Burgundy mist on my Ibanes GS 100, the discontinued color. I also use the candy apple red on my Spector 5 String Re Bop. These cables hold up nicely. Highly recommended.

Great cord

By Stephen

from Morristown, TN., USA

Comments about Fender California Cables:

The california cable exceeds my expectations. Normally the cables that come with most guitars use a small wire and have a lack of shielding which causes a rustling noise whenever it is moved. I haven't been able to reproduce that on this cable, even with the longest size they produce. A must have cable, they even throw in nice colors!
