Fender 250LR
Comments about Fender 250LR Super 250 Nickel-Plated Steel Electric Strings - Light/:
For the money these strings are great. On non - locking solid bodies I like enamel coated strings, but I use 10 - 46 regular nickle/ steel strings on my guitars with locking trems. The Fenders sound good and stay in tune well. If you want to spen a little more money the Dunlop are made of the same metal, but seem to be wrapped better. But for the money, you can't beat the Fenders,...they're wrapped and color coated and made of the same metal as D'addario's,.. only less expensive.

Terrible strings for tremolo equipped guitars
Comments about Fender 250LR Super 250 Nickel-Plated Steel Electric Strings - Light/:
These strings are terribly wrapped around the ball end, the high e and b strings will unavoidably unwrap during even most gentle tremolo use, making the strings out of tune of course. Re-tuning will only unwrap the ball end even further causing them to snap eventually (gone thru 3 packs already). These strings could be ok for a hardtail or floyd rose guitar (already to bummed out to try), they actually sound good and have decent life before rust wears in, however, being fender he manufacturer of the world famous stratocaster and other tremolo equipped guitars, their design is dreadfully engineered. MUST AVOID if using any ball end tremolos (sync, 2 point, kahler, wilkinson, etc) unless you wanna mess with soldering.
