This case is exactly what I looking for - it's looks great and is extremely well built.
The only thing that I don't like about it - is that the lid is removable.
However, that's a slight inconvenience.
Even though it states that it can hold 70 lp's, if you put 70 lp's in the case, the records will fit too tightly and makes strolling through them very difficult.
I would recommended storing 50 - 55 records in the case, so that they can be strolled through easily.
Sipping was extremely fast.

This case is certainly built as well as the half-split model and its handle looks even more substantial than that of the other; however, I have found that it being unstackable is a big drawback. I got it because having the opening at the top broadens the types of items it can hold -- like little doo-dads. But, if I buy more, I definitely shall get the half-cut ones again simply because they can be stacked.

This is a great case for a beginner in the world of vinyl collecting/listening. The only thing I didn't like was how the lid comes off completely. I guess it will come in handy at one point but there was no warning about the lid coming off completely, so when I opened the case and it came off; I thought I had broken it. On the upside of the design, it's not all made of plastic parts and the lock feature is great. Also, the sunlight is kept out by the dark walls and the inside is lined with foam. I highly recommend that you buy this case if you want to keep your records in mint condition.
