Ernie Ball

The most popular Slinkys with a Cobalt twist.

Ernie Ball 2723 Cobalt Super Slinky Guitar Strings are round-wound for maximum clarity and serious punch. The Cobalt Super Slinky set is clearly an improvement on its classic nickel-wound counterpart giving the player increased sustain, clarity and output. In addition, they resist sweat and moisture better and have unmatched flexibility when compared to other nickel wound strings. Cobalt is the most magnetically active string alloy on the planet and attracts the magnets in your pickups more than any other string.

"Ernie Ball Cobalt Strings sound and feel better than anything I've ever played! You have to check these out!" - Slash.
"Cobalt Strings feel incredibly silky under my fingers and deliver more punch, output, and clarity than normal strings!" - John Petrucci.
"There's a certain degree of clarity and punch you get from Cobalt Strings that I haven't heard tonally from any other strings I've played." - Joe Bonamassa.

All Ernie Ball strings are precision manufactured to the highest standards and the most exacting specs to assure consistency, optimum performance and long life. Made in the USA.

Gauges: 9-11-16-24w-32-42.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2723 Cobalt Super Slinky Elecric Guitar Strings:

i have had a set of these on my epi les paul standard since i bought it in 2013 and have yet to require a string change i practice on it daily for at least one hour plus i pick up the instrument to play rocksmith and bandfuse rock legends. i also have a set of the cobalt bass strings on my ibanez bass and it gets the same amount of use and the strings on both still look, play, and sound brand new. during the same time i have went though 3 sets of rotosound strings on my 5 string bass so as soon as funds permit i plan to change to 5 string bass to cobalts.

to the commenter saying they broke just trying to install them i would say you have an issue with your tele at teh bridge or tuners, or maybe you are trying to tune the strings to high either way i dont see how you could break them just installing them unless there is a problem with your instrument ( i advise checking for burrs on your bridge).
