Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I bought this over a month ago, to install in a Fender Frontman 25R which I had bought at the same time. I knew the stock Fender speaker was junk and I'd heard so much about these Rajun cajuns and was anxious to see if the reviews I've read were true. Installation only took me about 10 minutes and the results were very noticeable right away. Not only was the sound and tone of the amp much more pronounced and clearer without breaking up at high volumes, but at a extra bonus, I was also rewarded with a increase in volume as well. I don't see how people could say that these Fender FM 25Rs could be used for gigging with the stock Fender speaker in them, but with the Rajun Cajun in it, it definately is now a amp that is capable of handling small club gigs with ease and maybe more. What is a 25 watt combo, now sounds more like a 50 watt amp. IMO, Fender should make these speakers a mandatory part of these amps.

    Eminence Ragin Cajun

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Fantastic speaker for a 10". I am impressed at the amount of low end I am getting out of this speaker, may be too much. I installed it in an isolation cabinet I built and it sounds pretty good cranked with my H&K SwitchBlade 50. I have used it for about a week or so and the only complaint I have is that it is a bit on the bassy side, this could very well be a design flaw on my cabinet. But I would much rather have too much than too little as it is fairly easy to EQ it out. Other than that is sounds pretty good, the mids are very present and the high end is not overbearing. I am using mine for metal and I like it.

    Ragin' Cajun

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Picked up this speaker as a replacemwnt for the stock speaker in my Fender Frontman 25R practice amp after reading a lot of recommendations for it. Wow, what a difference! The stock speaker was ok at low volumes, but thin and buzzy at higher levels. The Ragin' Cajun has tons more head room, better bottom end, tighter mids, and glassy highs. Turned this amp from a bedroom practicer into a chunky little bugger ready for small gigs. Highly recommended.

    Ragin Cajun Is Outstanding!!!

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I used one of these to replace the speaker I blew in my little Marshall MG30DFX. It sounded great with unbelievable volume. Since the Cajun is 8 ohms & the Marshall needed 4 ohms, I got an empty MG30 shell & another Ragin Cajun, paralled them to get a 4 ohm load with my "MG30 Stack" This is one great set up. It sounds like a Marshall should, it didn't before. For the price, you can not beat Eminence speakers!

    Great in a Princeton

    By Robbie--yLK_

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I replaced my stock Jensen with this and was blown away. The Jensen has a nice top end but can't handle any bass. Anything above 4 would cause the Jensen speaker to fart out. The Ragin Cajun is great. Full with no icepicks. Because it has a greater sensitivity, it makes the Princeton much louder. Now it can hang with a band rehearsal and sound great.

    Rajun Cajun for Supercahmp XD

    By Scott-NLUlj

    from Dallas, Texas

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

The stock speaker in the Superchamp XD had a thin sound and would buzz on certain notes. The Rajun Cajun was easy to install and has a much more full sound. It also allows me to turn the volume down very low and still get good sound where the stock speaker had a very limited volume range. Most of us have a certain "tone" in our head that we are chasing and this speaker was a big step towards the "fat" sound I am looking for.

    the Ragin' Cajun

    By gadsby

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

picked up an 1965 epiphone comet amp at a pawnshop real cheap, had an old speaker in it that wasn't orignal, not even sure what kind it was, took the amp to my amp tech, and had him go over it and fix a couple minor things, started looking around at 10" speakers to replace the one in it and the 'Ragin Cajun seemed to have the best reviews, so i ordered one from music123, got here in 2 days, installed it, plugged in the les paul, turned this little 12-15 watter up to 10 and i was in heaven, never heard a speaker sound so good right out of the box. would recommend to anyone, top notch speaker, top notch supplier

Great upgrade for small tube amp.

    By Dadawads

    from Novato CA

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I thought this speaker was a great upgrade for my Johnson Loredo tube amp, which came with an Alphatone speaker. First, the Rajin Cajun is a lot louder. But even better, the tone has much more depth. With the original speaker the amp was all mids. The new speaker added both highs and lows. I actually have to run the bass EQ knob on the amp at 3-4 now instead of 10 as I did with the original speaker. My little 15+ watt tube amp now sounds very big.

    Great speaker

    By Keith-21pg1

    from Texas

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Completely transformed my little Epiphone Valve Special. This gives the amp and guitar a wide range of tone and overdrive flexibility I didn't have before. If you've got a combo amp with a 10" speaker that is missing something, this one will fix you up.
