The Eminence Kilomax Pro 18A PA Replacement Speaker is a perfect subwoofer for DJ rigs, touring subs, club subs, and bass guitar cabs. The Kilomax features a Kapton coil former for increased rigidity and thermal protection; a polyamide-coated, 2-layer copper voice coil for improved power handling and durability; ferrite magnet material; 0.25" extended core for greater cone travel and increased power handling; die-cast aluminum basket for rigidity; a paper cone; Kilomax aluminum heatsink to transfer heat from the motor structure; and core periphery ventilation.
The Kilomax 18 woofer is best suited for standard ported enclosures.

As a mobile DJ i love power,To date i have 8 playing bass & i am planing to buy 4 more pretty soon .These Speakers are awsome & the prise is very good .I will recomend them everytime especialy if you are running a DJ systen,I love them

Well the sound is not bad. From electrical point of veiw is suitable for my project(1250W - wow!!, Fc=33Hz - Ok). I don't know if would fit in a car because of high dB level. In the project is about 136dB +-3dB.

I have owned 2 18" Kelomax for 2 years now. The people that I do Audio shows with like the highly directional and defined bass response. The old speakers were noticeably muddy in comparison. My wife and I are very happy with the performance. Although before by first show I blew one up. I was using them in an out door event and I went to test them out using my Crown K2 mono bridged and it Sounded so good then I lost one of them. I got a replace meant from My dealer and haven't had a problem since. I still mono bridge My K2 and they really Hit nice. If your looking for tight well defined bass this speaker will do the trick.
