Combat finger grunge!
Gauges: 10-14-23-30-39-47.
Super light touch for comfortable rhythm and fast lead playing
Elixirs are the first major innovation in strings in over forty years, and they deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play. Nanoweb coating permits acoustic guitar strings with the feel, bright tone, and punch of traditional strings.
Elixir Strings are covered with an ultra-thin, space-age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the fear of the enemies of tone!
Most players report that Elixir Strings keep sounding great 3 to five times longer than ordinary strings.

Overall: These strings are worth the extra cost since you won't have to change them for so long. The extra light strings are good for beginners until their fingers strengthen. The sound of the extra light strings is a bit tingy so I'd eventally move on to thicker strings.| Review By: Richard Carew | 5 months, 3 weeks ago1 people out of 1 found this review helpful
Overall: These strings are tops on my lisit because they bring out the best in my guitar. I spent top dollar for my Taylor guitar so I spend top dollar for my strings too. I get piano like bass notes and clear crisp trebbles. I'm also having a custom guitar built for me and I dropped off a set of these strings to string it with when it's done. Get some you won't regret it.| Review By: James Talvy | 10 months, 6 days ago1 people out of 1 found this review helpful
Overall: I LOVE these strings and as a beginner I was very thankful since they helped me with holding the chords without hurting my fingers too much. These strings are not meant to be bullied... they are Extra Light and will break more easily if you play them as if they are standard strings.| Review By: Jeremy-gXZSR | 4 years, 3 months ago4 people out of 4 found this review helpful
Overall: I've used Elixer strings for quite a while now, but I was a little worried about purchasing these strings. Now that they're on my Taylor 314ce I'm more than happy I did!| Review By: Robin | 5 years, 5 months ago15 people out of 28 found this review helpful
