Last 3 to 5 times longer than uncoated strings.
Elixir Nanoweb wound acoustic guitar strings are sheathed in a thin polymer coating that retains a natural feel while protecting the windings from the gunk that shortens their life and ruins tone. The coating gives them a smoother feel and reduces finger squeaks. 11-52.

Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:
These are the best sounding and playing strings I have come across. I recommend everyone to try them out. I have noticed that the phosphorus bronze carry their tone a little longer than the others. They are like a dollar more, but they are well worth it. Give them a try!

Sound Great!
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:
I love these strings. I did not realize how great they sounded until a fellow band member strummed her guitar with the Elixirs and I strummed mine with a new set of (I'll say brand "X" quality strings). We had identical Taylor guitars. I immediately switched back to the Elixirs. (I had previously used the Polyweb strings but they broke to easily so I switched back to my pre-Elixir strings.) The Nanowebs seem to last a little longer and I don't break them as easily as I broke the Polywebs. I use Elixir strings on all of my guitars and mandolins; don't want any other string.
