I LOVE THESE PICKS
Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
I hold strongly to the idea that a good pick is necessary to good tone (unless you want a fingerpicking tone) and thus I typically use five or so different picks when the tone really matters. Something softer, a nice thick Jazztone 205 for some of my solos, and have even messed around with the wedgie medium rubber pick for a weird ambient sound, caked with reverb. One thing I must admit to the people that I have advised to get a bunch of picks: since I got these, I use them all but exclusively. A vast majority of my tone comes from the picking dynamics I can get out of the green pointy ones. Such bright sound, and yet still full. Picking is amazing, strumming takes a little learning if you're used to gigantic picks, but its not to hard. I love that they come in bulk too because I find the sharp point so nice for fast picking that I tend to swap them out a lot.
Word of advice: don't buy the dull ones, get the pointed ones and wait a few months, you'll have plenty of rounded out ones, meaning two different tones.

awesome!
Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
I simply love these picks; especially the thins and mediums. The thins are great for strumming and the mediums are great for plucking. I like how they stay in my fingers and they don't slip and flop when my hands get sweaty. I think they put some kind of flour stuff that soaks in the sweat and that helps the pick stay in your fingers. Just try one and you'll know what I'm talking about.
