The Dunlop Straplok System is designed with the artist in mind. 360° groove-and-ball design allows the unit to rotate without catching. The strap retainers are easy to install and operate. The case-hardened steel skin guarantees long life. The same strap can be used with several guitars as the strap button is interchangeable. Release-tested up to 800 lbs. of pull; it won't come loose. Complete set (2 units for instrument and strap) adapts to instrument by replacing existing strap pins and screws with special Straplok System brand buttons and screws. 2 strap attachments are included.

I've used Dunlop strap locks for going on 30 years now. As a matter of fact I still have the first set I ever bought on my P-bass. I absolutely trust them. It is the first accessory I buy for any new bass I aquire. Have never had one fail, or come detached from my bass in all that time. There are other locks that probably work just as well but I have no reason or desire to try them, these work.

Very well made, heavy duty. This is the 5th time I've ordered a set, so obviously I like them. Easy to put on. Secure.

Another guy had the same problem with the strap locks buzzing, I just got a acoustic 4 string and put strap locks on it and it buzzed like crazy. Very easy fix go to Home Depot in the specialty bin get 2 neopreme washers. 1 per strap lock, that should tighten up your strap lock and take care of the buzzing.

The only thing that I don't want on this product is the spare screw. It is a little bigger than the original screw on my American Fender Precision Bass. So I used my original screw to avoid loose thread if I put back my original screw,other than that it's perfect.

I have a set of these on my SG and when I recently purchased a new guitar I felt naked without these strap locks. I had to buy another set for my new guitar. I have been using them for years and have never had an issue. They are great addition to any active musicians guitar. Very easy to install as well....took me 5 minutes. Never fear that your beloved axe will fall off mid stage jump. These locks will always keep your guitar on the strap.

this is one of the most important things that any player can have. it does not matter if you play bass or the guitar you will need this to save your instrament from a awful fall. even if you have the best strap that money can buy you need to buy these because just think accidents can happen
