The best man-made picks on the market

By Randy

from Cookeville, TN

Comments about Dunlop 421P Ultex Guitar Picks:

I've spent alot of time and $$$ trying to find "the perfect pick". The Dunlop Utex in 1.14 thickness is as close as I've come other than genuine organic material. They hold up better than any I've ever seen, glide over the strings like silk, and sound amazing. They're especially good for bluegrass-style flat-picking. All around awesome picks.

Guitar pick for the tone serious player.

By Earl Cobb

from Richland, Ga

Comments about Dunlop 421P Ultex Guitar Picks:

Many players often overlook the importance of guitar pick, and its relevance to guitar tone. The Dunlop Ultex is the pick for the player who wants a better tone from his setup. The Pick has a heavy midrange tone that can make any pickup configuration "sing". It is very good for any musical application, especially clean toned country, Jazz, and rock.

These are the best picks that I've played with. I have been looking for a pick that will not slip out of my fingers, and these are the best I've found. They have a very bright sound and are long lasting.

Awesome Pix! There are is no better!

By Michael-8R8tM

from Munich, Germany

Comments about Dunlop 421P Ultex Guitar Picks:

I must say that I am impressed with these picks. I've been using the same pick for 5 months now and it hasn't broken yet! I play a 5-string bass with the 1.0 mm pcks. The picks are easy to use especially when you play fast Heavy Metal like I do. Believe me, there is no other pick that is better!

fast picks!!

By OOOH! Pick me!! Pick me!!

from under your house

Comments about Dunlop 421P Ultex Guitar Picks:

Tried these and was totally impressed. They are rigid and very hard. Because of this, they track well over the strings, and release the string smoothly and effortlessly. Sweeps and fast picking feel smoother, cleaner, and faster because the string does not drag on the pick. Compared to Dunlop standard nylon, these are noticeably brighter and more wear resistant too!

Picks

By Cody McGrady

from Rugby, VA USA

Comments about Dunlop 421P Ultex Guitar Picks:

I think that the Dunlop "Rhino" picks, as I like to call them, are very good in bluegrass and blues music. It gives your guitar the accessories it needs to perform at its utmost peak and tone.

Unbeatable

By Donal Maher

from Ireland

Comments about Dunlop 421P Ultex Guitar Picks:

I changed to the Ultex plecs about a year ago and haven't looked back. As someone who is fairly heavy handed when it comes to playing guitar, I found, and still find, the durability on another plane compared to any other plec I've used. Even when using the plec as a scratch tool on heavy grade strings the edge remains true. The only drawback would be that they can seem a little stiff for light styles like funk or jazz.

Fantastic quality and bang for the buck

By S-Igi0t

from United Kingdom

Comments about Dunlop 421P Ultex Guitar Picks:

I have been a Dunlop fan for the past 14 years, and have grown with their picks along the way. I started using tortex like so many others, but hated the way they would slip during a live performance. Switched to Gators as the grip was so much better and thought I was in heaven, until I found the Ultex. Now I won't use anything but Ultex, and haven't in close to a year. Very strong picks with a naturally grippy surface, they last longer than anything I've used before and never slip during a show. These are picks worth your time and attention!
