The most popular acoustic pickup is even better!

The Dean Markley Pro Mag Grand is a humbucking acoustic guitar soundhole pickup that has been re-voiced for better string balance, and enhanced low-end, midrange, and highs with sparkling harmonics. Happy with Pro Mag Grand

By Steven-GjG7D

Comments about Dean Markley Pro Mag Grand Acoustic Guitar Pickup:

I borrowed a cheap Dean Markley slide-in-the-hole pick-up. The etching worked perfectly, with surprisingly good, clean static-free sound. It was a $60 Dean Markley humbucking Pro Mag grand. I bought one online the next day and have been incredibly pleased with how well it performs.Model is really good- especially for the price).

Comments about Dean Markley Pro Mag Grand Acoustic Guitar Pickup:

This Dean Markley pickup is great. I had a Washburn acoustic guitar and when I put this inside the sound hole of the guitar I was amazed at the clear tone. I didn't notice any humming which was surprising. If you want to upgrade your acoustic guitar to an electric guitar, this is the best way.

Wow! Listen to me now.

Comments about Dean Markley Pro Mag Grand Acoustic Guitar Pickup:

I own a variety of stringed instruments, most of which are equipped with some type of pickup, mostly factory installed. My old Samick however was not equipped to be plugged in. That is all history now. I got the Promag Grand, stuck it in the hole, plugged it in to my Line 6 Spider 112 and was simply amazed by the sound that my little Samick produced. Absolutely awesome. You can adjust the location of the Grand to emphasize the high or low end, I really did not hear a hum even when I cranked her up. I am thinking about permanently installing this one in my guitar.

Versatile warm Sound.

Comments about Dean Markley Pro Mag Grand Acoustic Guitar Pickup:

I had been looking for a pickup to work on my Ovation Artist. The fiberglass construction did not accommodate the pickups designed with the wood material for my guitar. The Promag Grand performed great. I can change the tone from my amplifier and Promag still provided a rich defined sound. Thanks Dean Markley for a job well done and getting rid of my headache. At least it sounds good.

Comments about Dean Markley Pro Mag Grand Acoustic Guitar Pickup:

The overall sound of this pickup is great. It holds an acoustic tone very well even on an electric amp. Feedback when distorted is ridiculous, forget about playing with any distortion. Cord is ridiculous. Permanently attached to pickup. Little tiny Mickey mouse diameter. Would have been better served to have a loop attachment for the button and a plugin for a standard cord. There is a Seymour Duncan pop in style pickup that is like this but doesn't fit in my soundhole, I'd recommend getting it if you have a standard size soundhole. Sound is all that matters though, right?
