I ordered my strings on a Thursday afternoon and received them on Saturday! I was hoping for a week but only 3 days? That was great! Will continue to be a customer.

Things strings rock

Comments about Dean Markley 2676 Blue Steel Cryogenic Medium Bass Strings:

These strings really make a world of difference from the old Ernie Ball Extra Slinky Round wound nickle strings. They sound sooooo much brighter and crisper and make slap and pop really come to life like I didn't think my little cheap bass could. I just got them so I don't know about the life of them yet but from what I hear there suppose to last 2 to 3 times longer than most other strings at the same price. we'll see about that but if you haven't given these a try I highly suggest them. Hard to explain the difference in sound till you really hear them. Doubt I'll get any other strings except for maybe lighter gauged ones, but other than that these strings feel, play, and sound amazing.

What Took Me So Long?

By B.

from Roanoke, VA

Comments about Dean Markley 2676 Blue Steel Cryogenic Medium Bass Strings:

After playing off and on for the past 16 years, I've tried nearly every string on the market, as long as they were cheap. That said, the strings behaved and performed the way strings are supposed to: they made sound when I hit them with something. I never really put much thought into feel though, and after picking up a set of Blue Steels, I consider myself a Dean Markely convert. Out of all my string companies (GHS, Fender, DR, D' Addario) the Steels overall have the best feel and I swear the better sound of any string I've tried so far. I took the kinda new DR Lo-Riders off my bass and threw on the Steels, and the sound was beefier in the low mids than the DRs. I award the Blue Steels the Best in Show for the Roundwound breed, hands down.
