Keeps your instrument in top playing shape.
Maintaining your instruments humidity level is essential to preserve its playability, sound and integrity. The humidifier releases moisture evenly and slowly inside your instruments case to maintain the proper humidity level preventing cracks, warping, and shrinkage to your instrument. Using the humidifier is as easy as moistening the sponge when it becomes dry. The small instrument humidifier can also be used in conjunction with the Planet Waves Soundhole humidifier (GH) for acoustic guitar cases when your humidity is consistently 20% or lower. Get one for all of your valuable instruments. It's the smart, easy, and affordable way to protect your investment.

Comments about Planet Waves Small Instrument Humidifier:
I originally kept some moist sponges in perforated ziplock bags in my guitar cases. I decided to pick a handful of these humidifiers to try out, simply because they look nicer.
They aren't anything fancy by any means but do what they are supposed to and the fit/quality seems just fine. The sponges, once wet, fit inside the containers perfectly and the containers themselves close up nicely.
I actually use these in my electric guitar cases. They only need to be re-moistened every few days to a week.
It would be nice if they were just a bit bigger but i'm not sure if that would make much of a real difference or not,
