All the features of the NS Mini, and more, but in an even smaller size.

The NS Micro offers improved accuracy, faster response, expanded calibration range, visual metronome mode and an improved ratchet design. A highly sensitive piezo transducer and easy-to-read multi-color backlit display allow smooth and highly accurate tuning in noisy, dim or well-lit environments while the micro design and reversible screen allow the tuner to hide effortlessly behind or mount on the front side of the headstock allowing the tuner to remain clamped to the instrument inside most cases when stored. A 360-degree swivel mechanism and adjustable padded clamp offer optimal viewing angles and maximum positioning flexibility. As a result, the NS Micro is equally at home on left- and right-handed instruments as well as on small and large headstocks, making it an ideal choice for the widest variety of players and instruments. The NS Micro is powered by a readily available CR2032 battery (included) and provides maximum battery life utilizing an auto-off function, shutting the tuner off automatically after several minutes from power up.

Features
  • Built-in piezo transducer picks up instrument's vibration rather than sound
  • Improved software for faster response and improved accuracy
  • Tri-color reversible backlit LCD screen makes it easy to tune in dark environments while allowing mounting in front or behind headstock
  • Wide calibration range (410Hz to 480Hz) and visual metronome
  • Compact design blends into the aesthetics of instrument while adding considerably less weight than other headstock tuners
  • Tunes acoustic and electric guitars, basses, mandolins, banjos and other stringed instruments

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves NS Micro Headstock Tuner:

I read the reviews and when I could get a two-for discounted price, I went for it. I am surprised at the small size of the product, which may or may not be great for someone needing glasses. One has a dead battery, and the second not much better.Perhaps I just received old stock or one doesn't work - not sure yet. I will charge or buy a new battery and see. There goes my savings. No directions other than the package itself, and I'm gonna need stronger glasses to read it for sure.

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves NS Micro Headstock Tuner:

This Mini Tuner is great. Ive got 2 of them, one for my axe and the other I is used to tune my students so tht we are in tune together (it's aalso my stand by if neede). It's easy to use, easy to read, accurate, not cumbersome and fits perfectly on my EPI head stoke. It doesn't have to be removed when I 'case' my axe, so it's always attached.

Also, I trust the D'addario prodcuts, been usign them for a coulple of decades.

Works great! My other tuner is a Yamaha which was very hard to use. I have a 12 string guitar and this works just great and love that it's small.

Comments about D'Addario Planet Waves NS Micro Headstock Tuner:

As a player that's used many tuners, the "vibration sensing" design has become a Godsend. Of these, the Snark clip on was my go-to tuner, but because I leave it on the headstock it looked a bit out of place and glaring. This new D'Addario clip on solves that problem and is nearly invisible. A little more flimsy, the clip on assembly uses notches and can break easily (My first one was defective out of the box). It seems to work fine but lacks the range of accuracy the Snark has. Still, I would recommend this for those who leave their tuner on the instrument, and are concerned about aesthetics.

Does not function on a 5 string bass. Maybe someday they will perfect the technology.
