Comments about D'Addario NYXL1052 Light Top/Heavy Bottom Electric Guitar Strings:
The reason I bought these strings was to play Rocksmith. My previous strings took longer to tune and wouldn't stay in tune. While playing the game it is common to require a different key often so retuning needed to be easier. I have a Wildkat Royale with a Bigsby roller and it's really hard to find a string that will stay in tune on this. These top heavy strings were just what I was looking for. They are very easy to tune, stay in tune, and produce a remarkable sound. Some songs in the game that were in drop c wouldn't pick up some of the notes I was playing before, but with the thicker low strings, it's not a problem anymore. Many songs require a lot of bends too and they're almost always in the highest three strings so it works perfect. I recommend these strings for anyone that plays this game. For those playing live concerts and stuff, I can't compare to anything like that. But if you're in a band that plays in drop C, definitely give these strings a try.
