Special EXP coating extends string life dramatically without losing that natural feel!

Gauges: .010-.010-.014-.014-.023-.008-.030-.012-.039-.018-.047-.027

An ultrafine layer of EXP Coating is bonded to the 80/20 bronze wrap wire, then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. They offer natural round wound feel and will sound fresh and bright 3 to 4 times longer than traditional guitar strings.

80/20 bronze alloy retains flexibility as well as brilliant tone for many hours of hard play. Computer-controlled wrapping around a hex core ensures consistency and extends life. Many top players won't play any other brand.

D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.

Features

EXP strings retain their brilliance long after similar bronze and brass alloy strings go dead. Don't get caught with dead strings, order several sets today.

D'Addario EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze 12-String Lights

By Bob Gariepy

from Waterford, WI

Comments about D'Addario EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze Light 12-String Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I use these coated strings because they really hold up over time. They outlast ordinary strings 4-5 times as long. The standard wound strings start to unravel in a month or so and the tone drops off. Now I change them when they start to dull rather than when they unravel. My frequency of playing is several times a week for choir work.

Great strings

Comments about D'Addario EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze Light 12-String Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These D'Addario's are great. They are balanced, sound clear, and no metallic sound. I tried the Elixirs and was disappointed. Elixirs in general have a metallic sound that I don't want to hear while playing my guitar. That sound is magnified when it is a twelve string guitar. Not so with these D'Addario's.

Great Strings

Comments about D'Addario EXP36 Coated 80/20 Bronze Light 12-String Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I bought a Takamine guitar about a year ago. These strings were on it so I used them and really enjoyed them. When I needed new strings, I bought more of them!
