Unlike some coated strings, they still produce the clear harmonics and sound quite fresh and bright.They don't feel as "coated". I have found these strings produce more finger squeak than others. If you play along with other instruments or a singer this would probably not be a problem. Because I play alone it's really annoying. Overall,good strings for good players (in a band),and they do last longer than the uncoated strings.

Excellent Sustain, Excellent playability, Clear Tone, Outlast any other make of string.I speak as a guitar teacher. I play my guitar no less than two hours daily, and I find I only need to change them once every two weeks whereas I had to change my strings weekly before.
