Excellent onstage and in the studio.
D'Addario EFT16 Flat Top Light Acoustic Guitar Strings are phosphor bronze strings polished smooth. This produces a smooth, flattened playing surface, but does not sacrifice the warm tone and sustain associated with phosphor bronze strings. Flat Tops are excellent for recording and greatly reduce finger noise.
D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set of strings that's right for your acoustic guitar.
Try a set and see for yourself.

Comments about D'Addario EFT16 Flat Top PB Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:
You really can't beat D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings as far as value goes. They're just great strings. But the Flat Tops take the great string a step further. I bought these strings to give my fingers a break, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also have a cleaner press than round strings. When I press my finger on the string, I get a tighter, cleaner pinch with less effort. This results in crystal clear chords and melodies. I also really like the gauges in this particular set of "light" strings. The G-string is .024 gauge, and it is wound like like the four lower strings. I have always used light to extra light strings with about an .018 gauge G-string. But I love this set up, and I will never go back to the extra light G!I put these strings on my Ibanez PF Acoustic Electric, and it has never sounded or felt better! Incidentally, I am also a cellist, and a cello teacher, and I get D'Addario Cello Strings for myself and all my students. These guys know how to make strings! I will never put anything on my guitar but D'Addario Phosphor Bronze!
