All the benefits of a neodymium magnet combined with '60s and '70s guitar tone.
The incredible magnetic properties of Neo mean that only a small amount is needed to produce the same flux as a much larger ceramic magnet structure. What's more, the magnet of the G12 Century Vintage is a 'pot' type which actually sits inside the voice coil (unlike the 'ring' magnet of the G12 Century which surrounds the voice coil). The resulting weight of the G12 Century Vintage is just 3.65 lbs. (1.66kg).
The Neo characteristics of fast attack, responsiveness and articulation are very much in evidence. However, this specific magnet configuration, combined with a carefully selected cone material and edge treatment, gifts the G12 Century Vintage with a classic rock sound for the new millennium.

Make Your Vox Perfect
Comments about Celestion G12 Century Vintage Guitar Speaker:
I just installed this speaker in my Vox AD50VT, and it makes a BIG difference. The lows are deeper, fuller, the highs are clean, clear. The mids don't overwhelm the rest of the amp. It distorts with a tight, full dimensional sound. The speaker that came with the Vox AD50VT is a good speaker... but this is a GREAT speaker... very much worth the upgrade.

A wonderful speaker, Highly recommended
Comments about Celestion G12 Century Vintage Guitar Speaker:
I just put this speaker in a Fender Blues Jr. and it sounds fantastic. The low end is unbelievable. The normal useless fat switch works great. The cabinet seems much quieter and responsive. I never liked the high end sound of this amp but now I can remove the harsh sounds for a much fuller Fat sound. The reverb is still not great. It's okay for very minimum use. I was going to replace the Tubes but now I don't need to. The distortion still only helps with giving a fatter sound. Great improvement. My normal Amp is a Badcat Hotcat, but this is now a good spare.

Ultra light V30+
Comments about Celestion G12 Century Vintage Guitar Speaker:
I just installed one of these in my Fender HTRDX Le to replace the V30 that was in it. Sound is identical only better highs and tighter lows with super quick response. All this and 3 pounds lighter, worth the money!
