This 10" 60W ceramic magnet speaker has been voiced to produce the unmistakable Celestion vintage tones. Pushed hard it has plenty of growl and performs with very solid bass, muscular mids, and an extremely articulate top end. In addition, the G10 Vintage employs a 1.75" round copper voice coil, has a frequency range of 100-5500Hz, and sensitivity of 97dB (1W @ 1m). Golden sand finish.
The G10 Vintage is the natural evolution of the well-respected Vintage 10. Closer to the sound of the Vintage 30 than its predecessor, the G10 Vintage still maintains a distinctive tonal flavor of its own. All of these speakers use the same voice coil designs and similar ceramic magnet structures to achieve their familiar, hard-rocking Celestion sound.

I have Celestion Vintage 30s in my Mesa/Boogie amp and have always loved the sound. I was looking for a speaker that would make my Fender Super Champ sound bigger, and I thought that the G10 would help. When I took the G10 out of the box, I was really impressed by the materials and build quality, but I was extremely disappointed after it was hooked up. As noted by another reviewer, the G10 has no low end whatsoever, and it made my amp sound smaller rather than larger. I think it sounds very nasal, which is ok for some high gain applications, but it sounds really thin on clean settings. The G10s might work well in a 2x10 or 4x10 setup, but they're definitely not suited for a 1x10 combo in my opinion.

This speaker in a 2 speaker closed back cab sounds crisp- no lows at all. Not what I was looking for, but great for what they are.

Replaced the speaker in a Champion 110 Fender Solid State Amp and damn what a difference. True celestion quality in a 10 inch speaker. It truly sounds like a vintage 30 or a g12t-75 speaker in a smaller size. Buy this and you won't go wrong. There is a reason it is a top seller on the site. This thing can handle anything you throw at it and sounds very crystal clear, balanced, and perfect.

This driver was bought to install in a Roland Cube 30 , which I consider an excellent starter amp. My brother, (he's my teacher too) plays with the same amp. He got it after hearing mine.
