DeoxIT Gold G5 Spray is a 5% solution maximum performance electrical contact conditioner, protectant, and lubricant. Works great on plated metal electrical connections, contacts, and metal surfaces.
DeoxIT Gold conditioning solution improves conductivity and provides long-lasting protection on gold, base metals, and other precious metal contacts and connections (gold, silver, rhodium, copper, bronze, nickel, etc.). Use on plated connectors, contacts, and metal surfaces for maximum performance and protection.
DeoxIT Gold is designed to dissolve small amounts of oxidation. Gold G5 is recommended for critical applications where only slight cleaning action is necessary. For severely oxidized or contaminated surfaces, pre-clean with DeoxIT contact cleaner and rejuvenator.
If the surface looks clean, applying DeoxIT contact cleaner first is usually not necessary. The more critical the connection or part—especially for low current applications—the more DetoxIT Gold is a recommended final step.

Bought this on a recommendation from a seasoned veteran to clean up staic-y pots--the stuff works extremely well. For the price, apply sparingly and be careful because even set on low (the nozzle has 3 settings) it really shoots out. Spritz a little at the shaft/housing seam, spin the pot back and forth for a while, repeat 1-2 more times, let it sit for a while (few minutes), repeat once more for really bad pots, they'll feel and sound brand new. Same for switches. Definitely a great buy, you need this in your gear box.
