I bought this for the tap-in functionality. Like most nomes of this caliber, it has an abundant amount of subdivisions. I like the headphone plug so I can focus on what I am working on instead of being caught listening to someone else's metronome. This is the only unit I have in this price range that gives you the volume adjustment. I didn't want to spend too much, but I wanted a feature-rich metronome. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This metronome has everything I need as a string player, and I use the headphone output on it, to have consistency of volume as I might move around a room practing. The amount of choice in subdivisions and differing pitch patterns chirps, both on the beat, and off, are extremely numerous. This metronome blew me away by the functionality and the incredible price. There is not a better one. Roland is a great company to stick by for everything you need.
