        P Bass Pickups

        By C. Norris

Comments about Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound P Bass Pickups:

I've been using custom made pickups for a few years now. These pickups are okay but seem to have dead spots when played up the neck, don't cut and cost twice as much as the Quarter Pound Pickups. I just got these installed and they have better balance and sound. I am very pleased with the overall performance of these pickups.

        SPB-3's Rockin PUP's

        By Mike White

        from Portland, OR

Comments about Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound P Bass Pickups:

I have a squire, but the sound was never there (quite muddy). I've been thinking about buying another bass, but I like the feel and action of my squire. So the next best step was to try some PUP's. I picked the SPB-3's, from all of the review's and my friends telling me how good they are. I should have listned to them earlier. The sound is so amazing and clear. My volume on my amp was set a 7 - 8 playing shows, now with these new PUP's, playing the same venue's, I now play on 2 - 3, talk about a BIG difference. For anyone who's trying to get that sound from all of the strings, and to get all the high's to low's, and does'nt want to buy a new bass, I would recommend these, they will deffinately improve your sound immensley

        Great Sound Improvemnet

        By Rick James

        from Carson City, NV

Comments about Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound P Bass Pickups:

I have a really cheap p-bass clone that I bought for recording purposes. Then I found myself being asked to play bass out - and I wanted a better sound. Faced with buying a new bass or just replacing the stock pickups, I decided to go for these Seymour Duncan pickups because I've had good experience with their products before. I was pleasantly surprised. The sound was improved immensely. I'm getting a greater response across all frequencies, and all strings are equally presented. The installation was simple - no need for a tech if you have basic soldering skills. I'm very pleased with this product.
