Aquarian Super Kick I Clear Bass Drum Heads
Low-end, well-defined punchy sound
A narrow felt muffle ring (muffling ring ring is approximately 1/2 the width of Aquarian's Impact Muffling Ring) is attached to the backside of the drumhead to produce a low-end, well-defined punchy sound.Keeping the drummer in mind
Aquarian experienced tremendous growth in a relatively short time because of innovative ideas and unique products of superior quality. As Roy Burns, one of the owners of Aquarian says, "In everything we do, we keep the drummer in mind. We focus on helping the drummer attain a musical sound and achieve a better performance".

Comments about Aquarian Super Kick I Drumhead:
For a long time (about 10 years), I was a Remo Powerstroke 3 faithful. It was the only kick batter head I ever used. I always had to use a lot of muffling to get the sound I wanted. Enter the Aquarian SuperKick 1. My friend suggested I give it a try. I picked one up and put it on my Gretch Blackhawk EX 18x22 kick drum. I tightened the head just past wrinkling. Reattached my kick pedal and gave it a thump. BOOM!!! I was immediately in love with the head. A nice clear attack with minimal overtones, but enough low end to make you feel it in your gut. The felt muffiling ring eliminates the unwanted overtones, but still allows the shell to resonate. It's perfection! My bass player used to stand in front of me during practice. He moved because of it. Sounds great on stage and in the studio. Extremely durable as well. I use a double kick pedal, so I put the Aquarian kevlar pad on the head. I've been using the head for about a year now and it's sounds as good if not better than it did when I first put it on. I'm a pretty heavy kicker (I'm 400 lbs.) and there isn't a dent at all. I will now be an Aquarian Superkick 1 faithful. Buy it! You'll be glad you did.
