Overall I was happy with the case. there were some air bubbles from where they glued the outer canvas onto the wood, I had a few dings in the leather edging and handle from something. It is still a case and is going to take some abuse but brand new I expected a cosmeticly flawless case.
My guitar doesn't fit as snug as my Dreadnought does in its case but once you close it it locks it in place. Mine has about 2 to 3 inches of traver up and down, most likely due to it being a universal jumbo cases and can accomodate a 12 string. Other than that it is a beast and it does a fine job.

I bought the Alvarez AJ60CE (now called the AJ418C, same guitar, different model #) about 5 years ago now, and I bought this case to go with it. Now granted, I'm not a full time gigging musician anymore, and so this guitar rarely goes anywhere but to the church and back. But by taking just a little precaution to protect the case, has kept both the case and the guitar in brand new condition these 5 short years that we've been together. I very much recomend this case to house your Alvarez Jumbo. As a matter of fact, I just purchased a used AJ418C-12, which is of course the 12 string version of the same Beautiful Maple Jumbo Acoustic Electric 6 string bit of magic that I already had, and it came with a very nice Gator case, but it's just too small for Big Bertha. Too constricting for her ampleness. So I will be buying another of these fine cases for my new 12 string love. I just wish the lining was a different color othere than black; a nice irish green perhaps... Buy one, you won't regret it, and niether will your guitar.
