did not fit into jack. center piece was too large. I have an Epiphone bass with standard parts (jack).

This works well if the nut is not recessed. I have a telecaster with a slightly recessed jack nut. There is not enough clearence for the tightener to grasp the nut.
Works well on other guitars, however.
