I brought the 14" 1 year ago and its still going strong. It has a high pitched, but yet musical crash. It is perfect for all music types. It doesn't wear off. It may leave the occasional stick mark with nylon tips. It is very sturdy. It keeps its shine. It is worth the money. It is a cymbal that most drummers would like to have.

This sound of this cymbal is exactly what you will read on the Zildjian web site, bright, LONG decay (even though the Zildjian web site says the ZBTs have a short decay) and high pitched so if you don't like the high pitched sound go for the ZXÆs or try the ZBT rocks, or if money isn't an object that go for the cymbals that you will find in any proper rock drummers kit, the A customs. If you already have this cymbal and you don't want the high pitched sound but cant return your cymbal give your cymbal about a year WITHOUT polishing it, a layer of "galvanization" will form over the cymbal increasing the rate of decay and lowering the pitch a little. This of course also complies to the ride and Hi-Hats.

I bought a 14 inch crash cymbal and I have to say it doesn't sounds as good as I expected. I think it's ok if you're a beginner. But if you're not then this is not the cymbal for you.

There are several reviews here but one is about a cracked cymbal. Was it the player's fault, or the cymbals'? Other information was about how it looked. This is not information about music. Others say "awesome". This is also not musical information. Are there any experienced, professional musicians out there using this cymbal who can give usable info on this cymbal?

Phenomenal cymbal for its price! Sounds great with metal, the sound stands out, be careful to use a high attack angle, I'm on my 3rd one, but both times it broke I replaced it, it just sounds good.
