Zildjian Oriental China 'Trash' Cymbal

Yes, I said RIDING! My 14" China Trash is good as an effect cymbal (like in "Would" by AIC), as an accent when you want to give your snare or rim shot more emphasis, or even as a ride through a heavy groove. It has an ultra-fast response time, a good decay to the highest volume levels (let's face it, everything rings for a long time if you are not playing anything else or if you put your ear/mic right up to it), and a cool, trashy sound that seems low-pitched because of the light cymbal weight, and yet bright overall - a contradiction only until you hear it for yourself. Zildjian is just incredible! They give me all the voices I could want. I will never play anything else!

I've got the 18" china trash and it is the most perfect cymbal ever.It is so diverse you can play it with any musical genre.Its great for fast playing because of the short sustain it has, this means your drumming doesn't get lost.Great trashy 1 of a kind sound. Worth every penny!

I recently purchased the 22" and its the loudest, trashiest, longest sustaining china I've ever owned or heard. It's great for anyone who likes cymbals with long sustain. Highly recommended.

I was little skeptical about how musical this cymbal would be (I have an 18"). Now that I have it, it blows my mind. Even my mom likes it. It's that little piece of brilliance in a song that people hear but can't explain what it is.
