This had been the most favorite cymbal that I've ever purchased. It mixes well with virtually every kind of cymbal and records exceptionally well.

I Have A Mix Of A Custom, A's, K's And Oriental Zildjian And This Cymbal Filled A Nice Sonic Niche I've Been Looking For. I Got The 19", It's Warm, Dark And Lush But With Some Brilliant Overtones And The Timbre Blends Well With Everything And Works For Every Music Style. I Also Use It As A Left Side Ride. Good Stick Deff And Good Articulation But A Hint Of Wash And Overtone. Doesn't Build Up Overtone So Much And Give It A Good Shot It Will Open Right Up. Buy It Now.

I bought a Zildjian Z custom medium crash not long ago, and after using it properly found it to be too powerful, and not the type of sound I was looking for. I traded it in for this little number, and was very pleased with it. It's a lovely cymbal, very versatile. Good at crashing, nice to ride on, heavy or soft; either way it still produces the warm, full sound of a decent Zildjian. An excellent all round cymbal.

I was in junior high school the first time I used one of these beauties and just fell in love with it. It sounded so different than any other cymbal ever heard so far. Since then, K's are my favorite cymbals for the drumset. A few years later I bought one and it is the most beautiful sounding of all my cymbals (all Zildjians). It sounds great; powerful with a dark tone that blends excellently. I've also used it in my percussion setup, but I prefer it in the drumset. I like dark voices with the drumset and bright voices with percussion.
