Why Buy

Patented new vibration-reducing stick design. All the feel of hickory without the fatigue. Great for use with hard rubber electronic drums and practice pads.

Zildjian Anti-Vibe Hickory Drumsticks
Zildjian Anti Vibe Drum Sticks

Effectively reduces key vibrations
Developed in conjunction with noted vibration authority, Sims Anti-Vibration Technologies, Zildjian Anti-Vibe Drumsticks contain a patented feature that effectively reduces key vibrations. By reducing the amount of vibration present in the struck stick, the Anti-Vibe drumstick is easier to play and more comfortable for many players, than standard sticks. The stick maintains it's conventional lacquer finish and appearance, while the vibration absorption technology is contained out of the way, inside the butt-end of the stick.

Great for use on rubber pads
Anti-Vibe is great for use on rubber electronic drum pads and practice pads due to the vibration caused by these impact surfaces. Overall, the stick feels like you are hitting its sweet spot on every stroke.

I love them and they really kill any vibration especially when doing 16s on your ride. Don't play them backward. The drilled out center where the damper is set does not take a beating. The edge cracked on both of mine and the damper fell out. I just glued them back in and all is well.

There isn't a huge difference between these sticks and the regular Zildjian hickory drumsticks. They do help a little by not vibrating as much. If you play on an electronic drumset and you don't already have a pair of Zildjian, then get this pair.

These sticks really do help your hands a lot. When playing hard on the bell of a ride, or particularly on rimshots, they make your hands feel great. The one problem I found, however, is that the rubber core came out of one of the sticks. And I didn't hit it with the butt end, either. It may have something to do with the fact that they were outside in my car for about a day, then I went into the hot garage and started playing. But like others said, I just glued it back in and it's held up so far.

Kills all the vibrations. To feel the effect play with these sticks and then play with a different pair. Have full sound too. My new favorite drumsticks.

I thought it was a bunch of hype, but decided to give it a shot. The guy at Guitar Center said they're good for e-drums because the pads are hard. I don't have an acoustic kit (yet) so I can't say how they feel there. For the true test, I had an antivibe in my right hand and a Pro-Mark Millennium 2 Jazz in my left and played around my Roland Td-3 Kit. They really do make a significant difference in the reduction of vibrations that reach your hand. It was immediately noticable. It makes extended practice sessions much easier on the hands.

I bought these sticks because i`ve developed some hand problems and i needed a stick that was gentler to my hands. These sticks are effective at reducing vibration similar to ahead sticks but these are an alternative to players that prefer wood sticks.I like these sticks, but i wish zildjian would combine the anti-vibe feature with the dip grip feature, then my hands would really be happy!

These sticks are the best new thing to improve playability. I don't normally care for Zildjian sticks. When I received these, I was sorry I ordered replacements of my current stick with them. They work and they work well (better than Easton's) a little pricey but worth it. I played a gig for the first time with them and was very suprised. First off you can play more relaxed since the shock/vibe is greatly reduced, especially on rim shots and hard playing. I did notice some lessening of rebound on h hat but the feel and the ability to adjust to this with slight technique tweek was not a problem and actually welcomed. Two things suprised me after the gig. One, I didn't drop a stick all night (uasually drop 2-3 times) and realized I was dropping them from the shocks/fatigue of hard playing. The second thing was my hands felt like they did at the start of the gig, like I had not played at all!! Nicely worked out and feeling good but not in a state of fatiuge and soreness from all the contact vibration. This was very very significant, enought to make me convert to the anti vibe stick entirely on the spot. When you make strokes and your hand feels sudden hard resistance (enough to shock your hand) it sends a message to your brain to let go or let up and these signals impede the flow/smoothness of your playing. This became clearly evident after using the anti vibes on a demanding gig. Hard strokes (rim shots ect.) met no (very little) resistance and I was stricken with how much more relaxed and powerful I could execute my groove. Playing became easier and very enjoyable. The hope is Zildjian will expand the anti vibe line. If your thinking about making your own vibes (and I was) you might be able to pull it off, but you will deffinetly need a lathe and a very sharp bit (don't even try w/drill) honestly it's not even worth the effort. Just buy em and be done with it. A must try!!

Now that I have these sticks, I don't want to play with anything else. The anti vibe makes a big difference and even though I never noticed the vibrations very much before, when I play with normal sticks the vibration has become very annoying.
