I have several ride cymbals that I play (I play jazz, so this is like a necessity), and this is the best one I've played! It has a really nice ping to it, very nice stick definition so you hear every beat on fast parts of a piece, and a really nice crash sound that lasts a while, which is important in jazz drumming. I would recommend this cymbal to any serious jazz drummer...it's an essential one to have!

This cymbal is greatly superior to any other I have used! Along with the quick snap characteristic of most "ping" cymbals, this tool of success admits warm, subtle undertones and sustain that bring out the finesse of the musician's work without compromising its role of rhythmic stability. Its speed, projection, and gorgeous stick definition carve it a well justified niche in the world of faster music. In addition, softer forms of music (specifically jazz)are significantly complimented by its crisp, clear, shimmering tone. For virtually every style of music, this addition to your setup will radically improve the professional quality of your sound!
