Variable wall thickness bell for full, rich sound. MB2 mouthpipe provides quick response and excellent intonation. French bell bead rim with low dome wire improves overall projection due to the refined, sharper bell rim edge. Skeletonized valve stem allow for increased flexibility in instrument response and timbre. Narrow brace set is reminiscent of designs from the 1930s, 40s and 50s, helping give the instrument a quicker response and transmit vibrations efficiently. High water key chimney improves resistance characteristics and overall tone.

Yamaha YTR-9335NYS New York Artist Model Bb Trumpet
Developed in cooperation between Robert Sullivan of the Cleveland Orchestra and Bob Malone, Yamaha master trumpet designer. The YTR9335NYS Custom Artist Bb Trumpet features a .459" medium-large bore and a one-piece yellow brass bell for improved resonance and projection. This trumpet also features a MB2 mouthpipe; monel pistons; silver-plate finish. Includes a TRC-9445 deluxe case and a TR17B4 mouthpiece.
